Excellent, friendly, very accommodating staff. Lovely pool and courtyard area and good restaurant.
Free mini bar! Nice pool
No bathtub, and the shower was too closr to the toilet (no physical separation between them). The jacuzzy was cool, and the jets were low pressure
Staff Friendliness Free minibar Good free breakfast great location, no need to take tuk-tuks girlfriend friendly
Resort is nice and quiet. Room is very clean. Pool is nice.It is also convenient to come to the center of patong.
Staff english is not so good
The setting of this hotel was very attractive, and relaxing. The pool area made it easy to relax at any time during the day. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. I enjoyed the meals in the hotel as they were always well prepared and good value for money. The hotel is located close to the beach, and within a short walk to all the nightlife.
Very nice staff very, cleaned room,.... etc Very nice resort to stay
mosquitoes, they have to make something to avoid mosquitoes
Cheaper beer encourages tipping whilst sitting at the front of hotel 50 baht, whereas if you go to a bar a few doors down and dont ask the price of beer then 90 baht so youre better off to sit in a more comfortable setting and tip the staff say 30 baht a beer($1 aud) as they ll appreciate it more l think! Very cheap cocktails strong maitai $4 aud. Great pool, breakfast buffet v good aswell.
Warm still aircon (non adjustable)room 314 and surround units l suspect, very budget and left for low rate acc, however was moved to a new room 2nd night at my insistance.lm a pretty laid back guy but warm a/c in the tropics????FAIR Dinkum!!!! Staff member who took me over my cocktail list was not really keen about getting me one when l asked for one when l was poolside! When l checked out two days early l gave her a long neck of beer l didnt consume,l hope that made her happy for a moment! Youd think somepeople would be happy to have a job in tourism especially in a poor country!
Unlike the torrent of new plastic, international-style, hotels going up in Patong (including its sister hotel the Nap Patong), the Salathai retains a Thai flavour and a familial atmosphere, which along with still reasonable (but not as cheap as they were) rates, makes for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The rooms are fairly basic but very livable. Breakfast offers a good variety, while the location of the restaurant - virtually on the roadside - provides for an interesting start to the day. The swimming pool is splendidly located and laid-out. The hotel is several minutes walk to the main night hot-spots, but the agreeable counter to that is that the hotel's setting is nice and quiet and it is only about two minutes walk to the beach. For this traveller's taste it is just about perfectly placed in Patong.
The beds are a touch on the hard side and my back was starting to complain a little after six nights.
A very lovely Thai hotel, pool is small, but the water quality good, also with jacuzzi, we live on the third floor balcony of the room can be beheld Patong sea .staffs are very friendly. This is my first hotel choice in Phuket. feel comfortable!
Good location, close to the beach, and also to restaurants and other facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Realy helpful and freindly
We stumbled upon this small resort on a previous holiday to Phuket when we had a delicious meal. Their was attention to detail with their food presentation and tables were set with flowers and candles. The location is excellent and staff very friendly. I would certainly return to this small boutique hotel.
The shower is unusual with no bath or rim around it so the water tends to splash all over the place but we had been told about this before so it was not a worry for us. If you didn't know beforehand it would be a surprise.
Room was very clean with free soft drinks and safe. Very close to the beach and night life but the same time very quiet.
Near to beach. Many shopping, food and massage area. Hotel, pool and food are great but a lot of mosquito... Sometime water pressure very low....
Too many mosquito and water pressure low...
The beds were really hard and uncomfortable the first night- reception staff happily gave us a mattress comforter for the remaining nights which was greatly appreciated..
